What is changing
Argentina's securities regulator, the CNV, runs a mandatory registry of virtual-asset service providers (PSAVs). General Resolution 1058/2025 tightened the rules and gave already-registered PSAVs staggered 2025 deadlines to file documentation: natural persons by 1 July, local companies by 1 August and foreign companies by 1 September. Missing a deadline cancels the registration. The full requirements have been enforceable since 31 December 2025.
