The SPK Ordered 604 Web Addresses Blocked for Unauthorised Crypto Services

23 SPK decisions since January 2025 that name crypto, what they cover, and why the count understates 2026.

The short version: in its weekly bulletins from 2025/1 to 2026/72, the SPK took 23 decisions to start legal steps to block web addresses offering unauthorised crypto-asset services to residents of Türkiye: 604 addresses in total. In 21 of them crypto is named together with other unauthorised activity such as leveraged trading; 2 name crypto alone (15 addresses) (full list).

What the Decisions Say

The typical wording: web sites “found to provide unauthorised crypto-asset services to persons resident in Türkiye via the internet”, with blocking sought under articles 99/A and 99 of Capital Markets Law 6362 (our translation). The addresses are printed in the bulletin. The most recent crypto-only list, in bulletin 2026/49 (5 Aug 2026), has 12 addresses.

Why 2026 Looks Lower

19 decisions are from 2025 and 4 from 2026. Many SPK block lists in 2026 refer only to unauthorised capital markets activity without naming crypto, so we do not count them. The real number of crypto sites blocked is therefore higher than shown here.

Criminal Complaints

The SPK also announced criminal complaints over unauthorised crypto-asset service provision in 3 of the bulletins read. We do not republish individuals' names.
