Türkiye Crypto Exchange FAQ (SPK Lists)
Short answers on which crypto platforms are on the SPK lists, what the lists mean, and when licensing ends.
- Which crypto exchanges are licensed in Türkiye?
None as a trading platform yet. 52 companies are on the SPK's list of crypto-asset service providers operating in Türkiye (1 Oct 2026), but the SPK says the list is not an authorisation. 3 of them, all banks, hold an SPK operating permit as crypto-asset custodians.
- Is Binance legal in Türkiye?
A company named Binance Turkey Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu AŞ (formerly BN Teknoloji AŞ) is on the SPK operating list, which lets it keep operating while it applies. It has no operating permit.
- Is Bybit on the SPK list?
Yes. Bybit Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu AŞ, formerly Narkasa Yazılım Ticaret AŞ, is on the SPK operating list.
- Did Coinbase leave Türkiye?
Coinbase Turkey Yazılım Teknolojileri AŞ is on the SPK list of companies not continuing, and in liquidation.
- When is the licensing deadline?
There is none at the moment. SPK decision 18/617 of 26 March 2026 ties it to SPK-authorised custodians serving platforms widely.
- What happened to Bitexen?
Since 23 September 2026 the SPK has barred it from taking new customers or listing new crypto-assets until further notice.
- Where can I check a platform?
The SPK operating list and the list of those not continuing, or our combined list.
