Who has applied and who is leaving: Brazil's crypto licensing scorecard

Where each major platform stands according to Central Bank data and public statements, sourced line by line.

VASP Tracker follows 170 crypto platforms active in Brazil, 22 of them classed as major brands. This scorecard combines two sources that we keep separate: the Central Bank's open authorisation-process dataset (reference date 30/09/2026) and public statements by companies or the press, each linked and dated.

How to read these numbers

  • BCB data is monthly and lists only open processes; filings after 30/09/2026 appear in the next reference date.
  • Already-authorised banks and brokers follow a notification route (Res. 520, art. 22) that is not in the dataset.
  • Public statements are not confirmed by BCB. The category reflects what the company or press said, not our assessment.
  • Absence from the dataset does not imply wrongdoing.
