Methodology · Liechtenstein
How the Liechtenstein tracker is built. Data is official and read on every build.
Sources
- FMA-Register. The page is a web app; we read the same public JSON it loads (no login): every entry in the token and TT categories under the TVTG (42 entries), paged, with the total count checked. Kept: firm name, LEI, website and the TVTG or MiCAR grants (category, type, granted / expired / withdrawn / returned dates). Addresses, phones, e-mails, directors and natural persons are not stored.
- ESMA interim MiCA register (CASPS.csv): crypto-asset service providers with the FMA as competent authority, matched to FMA-Register entries by LEI. The FMA-Register itself shows no MiCAR grants.
- FMA pages on the TVTG, CASPs under MiCAR and the MiCAR register; their key sentences are checked on every build.
Labels
- MiCA CASP: on ESMA's register as authorised by the FMA. TVTG registered: at least one current TVTG registration and no FMA MiCA authorisation. TVTG ended: only expired, withdrawn or returned TVTG registrations.
Source Hierarchy
- official FMA Liechtenstein; ESMA.
- company none used.
- press · secondary none used.
Limits
- Firms passporting MiCA services into Liechtenstein from other EEA states are not covered (see the EU hub).
- Banks and other FMA licences are shown only where the firm has a TVTG entry or a MiCA authorisation.
- “Not listed” is not a finding about how a firm serves users in Liechtenstein.
