What Is Changing
Ireland applies MiCA directly. ESMA's list of grandfathering periods shows a 12-month transitional period, so providers that relied on national rules had to hold a MiCA authorisation by 30 December 2025. ESMA's Article 93 list names Central Bank of Ireland as competent authority for crypto-asset service providers.
The figures below count entries in ESMA's interim MiCA register (CASPS.csv) with Ireland as home member state, and entries passporting services into Ireland. They are recalculated on every build.
