What Is Changing
Mauritius licenses virtual asset service providers and initial token offerings under the VAITOS Act 2021, in force since 7 February 2022. The FSC publishes a register of licensees.

The VAITOS Act 2021 is proclaimed and comes into force. Existing VASPs and ITO issuers must apply within 3 months; custodians had 18 months.
