What Is Changing
In Kazakhstan, the main licensing regime for crypto exchanges is that of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC), supervised by the AFSA. Digital asset trading facilities and other digital asset firms are licensed under the AIFC Digital Asset Activities rules, in force since 1 January 2024, and listed on AFSA's public register.
This row covers only the AIFC regime, not Kazakhstan's onshore digital-asset law.
